Creativity Adapts

As the water rises and enters into the house more we encounter more and more problems. The government is not able to deal with all these problems, this is where our creativity is needed for out survival. There has been alot of outstanding innovations, but the makeshift toilets impressed me most. This innovation jumped up to my favorites firstly because, how people understand why toilets are needed, they are a necessity for everyone. In addition it is portable, an very easy to function.

If I was really stuck at home with water swimming all around me I would invent an electricity generator This would come in handy because it can be used to charge phones. Phones are a key part in communication, you can't call for help if you don't have a phone! This electricity generator will always work even if the cut out the lights. Why? Because we will be the one generating the electricity. This innovation will be powered by a bicycle, as the wheels turn power is generated to create electricity.

Innovation comes from our creativity and ideas. Especially when humans are left with nothing we tend to be able to think up something workable and useful during a crisis, these qualities are important because of how it helps us adapt to new situations.

  1. I really like the organization of your post. it has an introduction and also a conclusion. I also think that the toilets are the most important and is also my favorite. I like your idea of inventing the electricity generator by bicycle but I think it is also ready invented. You should give more information of how your electricity generator is made.

  2. Eye, indeed you do a nice job of organizing the post and writing clearly. I think the bicycle-generated electricity is brilliant! Like Tiger, I wonder if something like this exists already. One related innovation I am aware of is a hand-crank radio so it can be "wound-up" and play, mostly to share information in times of crisis. The bicylce would provide an outlet for physical exercise too!

A few more details in each of the paragraphs would help make this a very strong post. I find that last line, however, really powerful to end on, and an important reminder. Thanks for your post!

  3. This survival guide is actually really interesting, it reminds me of when there were other floods around the world. The most amazing idea was, the bicycle generating the electricity!
